Radja Nainggolan revealed that he almost moved to Chelsea and the premier league is tempting and doesn’t rule out a move in summer. In an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, the tattoo clad midfielder said Conte was the reason why he was speaking to Chelsea.

When asked if he fancies a move to the premier league, he said

"Give me the sun I will come, I'm happy. Why give that away to begin again".

He also added by saying

"I watch it a lot. A lot of my team-mates play there. It's the best league in the world. We have to make choices in life. I am having a good season. When the window opens we will talk about it again."

Reports linked Nainggolan with a move to Chelsea in the summer, and he admits he spoke to Coach Antonio Conte. He said

"Yes. I talked to him; They were really interested and wanted me over there. That's all I can say."

With rumours also emerging about a move to China, would this be something to consider in the future?

“'China? Currently no, but you can never say never. We need to see right now,"

Nainggolan is currently with Belgium preparing for Saturday's World Cup Qualifier against Greece. Belgium head coach Roberto Martinez is less of a fan it seems. Nainggolan was one of the first names on Marc Wilmots' team sheet. But, after taking over in the summer, Martinez left him out of the squad. His failure to be selected sparked a media campaign in Belgium. Now, Nainggolan is back.

One of the reasons why Martinez didn’t prefer Nainggolan is because he smokes. Not only that, he isn't ashamed of it and has no desire to stop. In his new advanced role, Nainggolan has scored 10 goals in 23 games for Roma.
